St Carlo Acutis Children's Hub Recognised at the 2026 Victorian School Design Awards.

The St Carlo Acutis Children's Hub has received industry recognition for its considered design, creating an inspiring space for early education and community connection.

Newpol is delighted to share BSPN Architecture's recent success at the 2026 Victorian School Design Awards (VSDA), where the St Carlo Acutis Children's Hub was awarded Best New Kindergarten or Early Learning Centre.

This project represents a successful collaboration between architectural design and construction expertise in creating a welcoming, functional and engaging environment for young learners.

Designed to support the growing needs of the Wollert community, the purpose-built facility accommodates up to 99 children at a time, with the flexibility to support additional enrolments through staggered attendances throughout the week.

Beyond its early learning facilties, the hub also incorporates consulting rooms and out-of-school-hours care, providing a versatile space that supports the broader needs of the community.

The project’s recognition at the VSDA highlights the importance of thoughtful design and collaborative project delivery in creating educational environments that make a lasting difference.

Newpol was proud to play a key role in transforming the architectural vision into a high-quality facility that will support learning, development and community connection for years to come.

We extend our congratulations to BSPN Architecture on this well-deserved acknowledgment and celebrate the collective efforts of everyone involved in bringing the project to life.

At Newpol, we’re proud to collaborate with industry partners who share our commitment to delivering exceptional spaces that enrich the communities we build for.
