Newpol has been appointed to deliver Stage 1 of the Aquinas College Master Plan in collaboration with MACS and Kosloff Architecture. This milestone marks the beginning of a significant 15-year redevelopment of the College’s Victorian campus.
Stage 1 includes the refurbishment of general-purpose classrooms and the Health Centre, along with upgrades of the existing Drama, Music, and Food Technology spaces, including new music practice and band rooms.
The scope also comprises the construction of a new two-storey learning building to house general learning areas, breakout spaces, and staff working zones, complemented by extensive soft and hard landscaping. The façade will feature detailed brickwork, bringing a unique architectural finish to the campus.
Additionally, due to the site’s location within the college campus, the project team will overcome various access restraints, all while maintaining uninterrupted operations throughout construction.
