The new RED Treatment Centre in Armadale provides comprehensive, recovery-focused treatment for Victorians aged 18 and over who are living with an eating disorder. This unique model of care not only eases pressure on emergency departments, hospitals, and primary healthcare services, but also offers a therapeutic, home-like environment with 24/7 support.
To achieve this, the two-storey building features specialised facilities such as sensory, snug, and sunrooms, along with kitchen, dining, and lounge areas that open out to spacious backyard and courtyard spaces. The first level houses staff and residents’ bedrooms, while staff offices, amenities, and car parking are also incorporated into the design.
